The science behind

At Moonalisa, our protocols are developed at Stanford University and are based on the principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBTi).

This scientifically-proven approach is widely recognized as the gold standard for addressing insomnia and is considered more effective than traditional medication-based treatments.

Poor sleep is compounded by hormonal and body changes.

Throughout each trimester of pregnancy, it is common for there to be changes in sleep patterns.
There are sleep changes that occur after delivery.

There are sleep changes that occur with menopause and for many, sleep worsens in the menopause transition.
There are changes in sleep during menstruation. Many women experience disrupted sleep during their menstrual cycle due to hormonal fluctuations.
Parenthood often causes sleep changes, including decreased quality and quantity of sleep.
